We adopted Walter about 9 months ago, and for 9 months, I have been searching to find treats that he LOVES.....and doesn't make him vomit. We found some a few months ago called "We Pity the Kitties", which he does love and has even opend up cupboard doors to get at. The only issue is, the box is $8 for 20 or so treats...not very cost effective when he steals the box and eats the entire contents. So I finally buckled down and bought a carton of bonito flakes. For those of you who don't know what Bonito flakes are, its like fine, feather-like fish flakes, smokey almost. Japanese use them alot for cooking....or so Alton Brown says...Tuesday, February 9, 2010

We'll have to try those treats. Have you tried Organix treats? They're a favorite around here especially the cheese flavor...and they're healthy and really inexpensive.
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question, the couch came from London Drugs. They have three sizes (ours is large) and probably 3 or 4 different colors too.
Hi again, the Organix treats are small and hard. The only flavors I remember are cheddar and turkey, but there might be more. We get them from G&E Pharmacy, but I think I've probably seen them in other stores too.
ReplyDeleteWe got the enclosure online at Wild Whiskers: http://www.wildwhiskers.com/OutdoorCatEnclosures.htm
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it's on sale right now. It's awesome. When we had a balcony they would sit outside in it every day (took them a while to get used to it, of course). I even had to put water and litter in it because Indy would stay out for hours. They also play with it inside, and we've used it for all kinds of stuff like keeping Georgia contained after surgery, keeping them apart when we get a new cat, etc. It is really light and folds up easily, and is really durable. Sorry I sound like a sales person or something, I just love this enclosure and looked for a long time to find something like it.
